A very well-known hybrid tea. Long-pointed buds open into large, well-formed, long stemmed, fully double, 4" blooms (petals 24+) of deep red. The velvety texture of the bloom is almost unbelievable. 'Mr. Lincoln' has outstandingly strong damask fragrance that seduces the senses. Colour varties a great deal from a bright red to a deep almost black velvet red. Easily the most loved and favorite red rose of all time! Needs good soil, full sun and proper care to enjoy its majesty! One of the most fragrant roses I have ever sniffed. Does best when established.
